Our spirit of connection is deepened by the legacy of Guglielmo Marconi, who made history whilst staying with us. In 1901 Marconi sent the first transatlantic wireless signal from Cornwall to Newfoundland, laying the foundations of modern wireless communication. Our Afternoon Tea reflects the elegance and spirit of that era; thoughtful craftsmanship, a sense of occasion, and the pleasure of unhurried conversation.
