Anchored above a private Cove on the Southerly tip of British mainland, The Housel Bay Hotel & Restaurant was built in 1894 from locally extracted and hand crafted granite. The combination of our unique landscape and an historic Victorian building create a location with wonderful tranquility and a 124 year heritage.
Slip away from the everyday hustle and bustle of modern day life. Become connected with nature. Take the time to walk the paths. Breathe in the fresh sea air. Immerse yourself in the panoramic views and scenery of the beautiful untamed dramatic Cornish coastline and wild countryside of the Lizard Peninsula.
If you’re after sleek lines and stripped-back minimalism, then this coastal hotel won’t be for you – but if it’s wraparound views and vintage Victoriana that lights your candle, then you’ll be thoroughly happy here. Built by the renowned Cornish architect Silvanus Trevail, this detached hotel is all faded charm: make sure you ask for a sea-view.
Breathtaking views of the sea. Lovely little secluded Cove directly in front of the hotel. Amazing crystal clear waters to swim in.
