Bay House is our beautiful beach home, perched above a private cove on the most southerly tip of UK mainland. Bay House is designed to connect you to nature, and the rural simplicity of the Lizard Peninsula.
Escape to our hidden oasis and immerse yourself in the uninterrupted panoramic sea views of the wild Cornish coastline. Stay in an area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty’ where we invite you to slow down and savour the beauty around you.
We can host up to 8 guests, offering a secluded escape in a peaceful and relaxing setting

Our garden gate opens onto the South West Coast Path, where you can wander for miles, from exploring the iconic Kynance Cove, or the picturesque fishing village of Cadgwith Cove and beyond.
From our garden gate you are just 50m from a tidal sandy beach, which is only used by a handful of locals.

Rates.
Daily rate for the entire home.
Low season ~ from £295 per night
Summer & holidays ~ from £495 per night
Cleaning fee ~ £100
July & August a minimum stay of 5 nights is required.
We charge £25 per guest, per night, over 4 people.
We request a 30% deposit at the time of booking, which is non-refundable. We then require the remaining balance 8 weeks before your stay. We take payment via bank transfer. A 5% service fee is added to the total.

Our check in is from 4pm, and check out is 10am.
We kindly request when you arrive to pop to Housel Bay hotel for check in.

On request we can allow one behaved dog.
Each pet is charged at £60 per week. We may request a higher security deposit for pets, and they are not permitted upstairs or any furniture. -
Please note that Bay House has not been ‘child-proofed’, and we do not provide a cot or highchair.

We have complimentary parking available at Bay House. There is a EV charger next door at Housel Bay hotel.

There is a slope from the car park to the house, and all the bedrooms are on the first or second floor, accessed via stairs.

Please note, we are in very close proximity to the wonderful landmark of the Lizard Lighthouse, which is operational. However, we cannot control the intensity of its light and under certain weather conditions the fog horn may additionally sound. We want to inform you in advance so that it does not come as a surprise during your stay. Nevertheless, we do have earplugs available at Housel Bay hotel reception if you feel you may need them.

Our open plan kitchen and utility room are equipped with everything you need, from an electric oven with induction hobs, AGA, two large fridges, freezer, integrated dishwasher, washing machine-dryer, cafeteria, kettle, toaster.
We provide comfortable linen, bathroom towels, and Faith in Nature hand wash.

If you are travelling by train we recommend local Telstar Taxis to collect you from the nearby Railway stations; Redruth, Truro or Penzance, and Newquay Airport too.
