We have 23 bedrooms at Housel Bay.
We are slowly rolling out a refurb across all of the traditional hotel rooms. In the meantime the unrivalled views, epic location and knockout food more than make up for a 1980s style bathroom suite.

Please note, we are in very close proximity to the wonderful landmark of the Lizard Lighthouse, which is operational. However, we cannot control the intensity of its light and under certain weather conditions the fog horn may additionally sound. We want to inform you in advance so that it does not come as a surprise during your stay. Nevertheless, we do have earplugs available at the reception if feel you may need them.

Panoramic View.
Our Panoramic View Rooms offer uninterrupted, wall to wall views across the sea and Cornish coastline. Our most spacious rooms, they feature a seating area by the bay windows, made for slowing down and taking in the ever changing view.
We are excited to share that during our January closure, these rooms underwent a complete make over. Inspired by our coastal landscape, the design brings the outside in, showcasing local designers and a colour palette drawn from the Atlantic waters and the rugged cliffs below.
Ocean View.
Our Ocean View rooms offer endless view sea views, and overlook our beautiful garden and the South West Coastal path. These rooms are cosy in size, and best suited to short stays on the coast.
We hope the epic view makes up for the 1980s style bathroom suite.

Roomy Country View.
Our Roomy Country View rooms have contemporary interiors, extra space to unwind, and beautiful views across the surrounding Cornish countryside.
Our most spacious Country View rooms, they come with coastal inspired wet room bathrooms and can be made up as twins on request.
Country View.
Our Country View rooms have beautiful views of the Cornish countryside. These rooms have contemporary interiors, views across the surrounding countryside and coastal inspired wet room bathrooms. A comfortable space to settle in, relax and enjoy time by the coast.
Cosy Room.
Our Cosy Rooms are suited for short stays after walking the South West Coast Path. Designed for guests travelling light, these calm and comfortable rooms are perfect for resting after a day exploring the Cornish coast.
Rest your head a while.
Family Room.
Perfect for family stays, our Family Rooms feature contemporary interiors, coastal inspired wet room bathrooms and a set of bunk beds.
These rooms are also dog friendly, so the whole family can stay.
Bay House.
Bay House is our beautiful beach home next door to Housel Bay. Bay House is designed to connect you to nature, and the rural simplicity of the Lizard Peninsula.
Bay House can host up to 8 guests, offering a secluded escape in a peaceful and relaxing setting.
