Halloween is here, and what better way to celebrate than with a deliciously spooky twist on a cocktail classic?
Made with Connie Glaze Vodka, Kahlúa, freshly brewed Cornish coffee and a hint of pumpkin spice, it's the perfect autumn cocktail for Halloween celebrations or a cosy night in.
This Halloween weekend, we're sharing our Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini recipe so you can recreate a Marconi’s favourite at home.
What You'll Need
Serves 1
40ml Connie Glaze Vodka – for that perfectly smooth base.
20ml Kahlúa – adding a deliciously rich coffee sweetness.
30ml freshly brewed Cornish coffee – for a taste of Cornwall.
¼ tsp pumpkin spice – for that warming autumnal flavour.
A handful of ice – to get your cocktail perfectly chilled.
For the finishing touch: A dusting of pumpkin spice or three coffee beans to garnish.
Let's Get Shaking!
Step 1: Brew your coffee
Start by brewing 30ml of your favourite Cornish coffee. Allow it to cool slightly before mixing – we want a beautifully chilled cocktail.
Step 2: Add some Marconi’s magic
Fill a cocktail shaker with a generous handful of ice. Pour in 40ml Connie Glaze Vodka, 20ml Kahlúa and 30ml of your freshly brewed coffee.
Step 3: Spice things up
Add ¼ teaspoon of pumpkin spice to your shaker.
Step 4: Shake, Shake, Shake!
Pop the lid on your cocktail shaker and give it a good shake for around 15–20 seconds. The secret to that frothy espresso martini top is a really good shake!
Step 5: Pour & Enjoy
Strain your cocktail into a chilled martini glass, leaving the ice behind. Finish with a light dusting of pumpkin spice or three coffee beans for that classic espresso martini look.
And voilà, enjoy!
