Summer Activities In The Lizard Peninsula;
Paddle Boarding
Glide on soft waters as you tour around sleepy seaside villages, such as Cagdwith Cove along the Lizard, or choose Hayle Harbour for a more sheltered trip on the estuary. Look up at cliff tops, take in the open ocean, and be guided around our beautiful coastline. Paddle boarding is also great exercise for our core, helping us find peace and balance.

Kayaking
What could be more wonderful than drifting through clear waters as you explore hidden coves, peak through gaps, see seals, and discover the rugged coastline up close? Getting to gaze up at cliff tops gives you a whole new perspective of our dramatic coastline which we so often only see from up high. Even get to learn about local wildlife and the natural history surrounding the Lizard’s landscape. This is simply a must try!

Cycling Tour
The Lizard may be known for its walking routes, but it is also becoming a hot spot for cycling! Glide along the paths of the coastline, and take in the views at speed. Discover the Lizard via two wheels, and get much more exploring done! ‘The Cycling Cornishman’ suggest some fantastic routes to make sure you see the best bits.
Surfing at Poldhu
Poldhu Cove is one of the most popular beaches on the Lizard Peninsula. Partly because it is less remote than many, but also because it is a fantastic, sandy family beach. Also one of the best beaches for activities! Try your hand at beach volleyball, swimming, surfing and windsurfing.
