New Year, New Offering at Fallowfields.

We’ve entered a new year and we’re shaking things up. It’s time for a change in Fallowfields.

“Our focus in the restaurant has always been to try and present Cornish food in the best possible way. I have been thrilled with what we have offered at the restaurants. However I think we can do even better and this year we are transforming our offering to make that happen.

A key part of our ethos at the restaurants is to build our offer around our customers. Through constant feedback we can identify which experiences are enjoyed the most. Although we have received incredible feedback from both of our restaurants, the tasting menu that we offer in Fallowfields receives the strongest applause. We have therefore decided to dedicate the entire restaurant to this. A huge step for us which includes an entire new menu every 6 weeks.” Joseph Fallowfield, Head Chef.

We want to be more adventurous with our menus, giving our chefs the opportunity to flex their creativity, and to continue to showcase the very best of local, and seasonal produce from the Lizard Peninsula. 

This change is also driven by our commitment to sustainability, and continual respect of our beautiful surroundings. By offering one menu for our guests we can minimise food wastage in the restaurant and focus on specific produce which is in abundance.

“This requires a huge commitment from the hotel and faith from our amazing guests and therefore a big responsibility for us as a team. It also provides us with an opportunity to choose the very best ingredients, picked at their very best and cooked with our absolute undivided attention. This also gives me the opportunity to talk to our guests and explain the stories behind each of the dishes during your dining experience.

Our new Tasting Menu experience is £65 per person, and £110 per person to include paired wines. We can cater to dietary requirements by request, with a minimum 24 hours notice. Take a look at our January menu here.
