What are the Cornwall Tourism Awards?
The Cornwall Tourism Awards is a competition that happens every year, and is now entering its 22nd year which is amazing! It aims to continually evolve every year, changing categories and upgrading criteria, as they reflect on the constant innovation and reinvention across the industry.
How do you enter & what do the rounds look like?
Judging is actually carried out by an independent panel of a mixture of past winners, industry leaders, and experts in their field.
The first initial round of judging is always based on the information provided, along side with establishment’s online presence and reviews. Judges also look at the competitor’s website and social media accounts, as well as looking at the answers to questions set by the judges. These questions are about how you inspire, and courage visitors to come to the area in the first place. Selected restaurants may be visited by mystery shoppers which is the second round, before the final!
