We are fortunate to be situated at the southerly most tip of mainland Britain, overlooking the dramatic Cornish Coastline and the beautiful Lizard Peninsula. The Peninsula has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is one of the largest nature reserves in the South West. A large proportion is owned by the National Trust and as a result it has remained mostly unchanged and unspoilt. Our unique location gives inspiration to everything we do here.
The beaches in the Lizard feature dramatic cliffs shaped by the Atlantic, turquoise waters and white sands. Kynance Cove has been voted one of the best beaches in the world. The Lizard is well known for diverse wildlife, you can find 15 of Britain’s rarest plants and seals swimming in the sea. The Lizard’s natural beauty and interesting coastal history is one of the reasons why so many artists and writers source their inspiration from here.
This year, we have planned new experiences and events which have been inspired by the scenery that surrounds the Hotel. Each experience and event sets out to bring people together whilst taking in and enjoying the beautiful Lizard Peninsula.
