The 25th of October brought with it our very first ‘Yoga and Wellness’ weekend. Beginning with a misty morning and the authentic sound of the fog horn in the distance, as our yogis began to arrive at Housel Bay Hotel.
Throughout the weekend, as is quite typical of Housel Bay, we seemed to experience a glimmer of every season; from down pours to clear blue skies.
Days were spent getting out into the elements on mindful coastal walks, spotting seals down below, engaging in some Cornish history on lighthouse tours, and of course plenty of yoga practices in between.
With ‘Morning Movement Magic’ classes, incorporating flowing sequences too warm up and wake up. To posture workshops and special ‘Relax and Restore’ sessions by candle light. Our yogis truly experienced a well rounded and full weekend of yoga.
The early evenings started with chatty drinks in Marconi’s followed by meals in both The Terrace and Fallowfields restaurants. Ending the final night in our signature restaurant together in Fallowfields, tasting an aray of fresh Cornish dishes, truly experiencing wellness from the inside and out.
At the end of the weekend we hope everyone felt reconnected to the self, had given back to the body, refocused the mind and enjoyed the freshest foods The Lizard had to offer – ‘Uplift, Refresh, Reset’
