During September 2002, Zenith Entertainment produced a series of six programs for Carlton West Country about infamous crimes in Cornwall. One of the incidents occurred at Housel Bay during the second world war, when the hotel was taken over by the RAF to accommodate a Radar Plotting Team stationed at nearby Penolver. To add spice to an already dramatic story, the victim is said to have returned after the event to the scene of the crime. The show is compared by Inspector Wycliffe star, Jack Shepherd, shown above during the making of the film. The programs appeared on Carlton TV.
